Vincent Franceschini is of French nationality and studied business at the Ecole Des Cadres in Paris before going to the US in 1987, where he graduated from the University of Dallas with an MBA in International Management.
Fluent in French and English, Vincent began his professional career in Mexico City in the commercial department of GEC-Alsthom. On his return to France in April 1989, he joined another French multinational company, Essilor International and became Export Manager for South Africa. At the end of 1992, Vincent joined the Carnaud Metalbox Group and moved to England as Pharmacy Sales Manager of the Kerplas division.
In May 1994, Vincent joined Avenue Communications as Media Co-ordinator for the Tyrrell Racing Organisation and established the Tyrrell F1 press department as one of the most effective in Formula 1.
At the end of 1996, his role as Media Co-ordinator for Silverstone Circuits meant Vincent was responsible for the smooth running of the media facilities at the 1997 British Grand Prix where more than 250 journalists and photographers followed the race. In January 1997 Vincent was promoted to Associate Director of Avenue Communications, with responsibilities for new business - he secured the contract to provide the press service for the Minardi Formula 1 team - and the development of new commercial strategies.
Vincent left Avenue Communications at the end of 1997 to launch his own racing team, Kid Jensen Racing, in partnership with Simon Barker and DJ David Jensen, which enjoyed success in Formula Opel and F3000. During this time Barker and Franceschini also founded ProTech Composites, an engineering business which designed and manufactured carbon fibre chassis and structural parts for the motorsport and automotive industry.
In June 2003 Vincent founded Pole Ltd.
